Hi, my name is Carole Paes and I am the owner of 7 CAKES. I am a qualified chef and have been baking cakes now for over 25 years. I operate from home and qualified for a 5-star food hygiene award and a diploma in sugarcraft.
I started 7CAKES with the concept that you don’t need fancy recipes to get an amazing tasting cake, simple ingredients but a lot of thought. I wanted to create cakes that everyone would want to eat rather than the ones you pick the icing off and leave the dry remains behind. A cake that everyone would be desperate to get a slice of.
The first cake I perfected was the humble Black Forest Gateaux, steeped in Kirsch and smothered in cherries – All my Gateaux’s and Dessert Cupcakes are made fresh to order. My Gateaux’s come in two sizes – standard and mini. I also do a premium selection of Gateaux’s again in both sizes. My Cupcakes come in various flavours and they are all based on desserts.
